  6. From a horn-lover's perspective, Mirror Image is the most different-sounding Blood, Sweat & Tears album of all. Low brass wiz Dave Bargeron is in fine form, and new saxophonist Bill Tillman more than measures up to his predecessors/5(9).
  7. With Mirror Image the band achieved what I thought was the best post Clayton-Thomas effort. When the album 1st appeared on vinyl, my friends and I were all immediately taken with Side two, which began with "Are You Satisfied"(Track 6 on disc). Tracks are the best tracks by a long shot and worth the price of the whole disc/5(9).
  8. Inevitably with such a large line up, Blood Sweat and Tears were always going to be subject to line up changes between albums and "Mirror image" is no exception. The most significant here is the arrival of saxophonist and vocalist Jerry La Croix, signifying a change in the balance of the brass section with less emphasis on the horns/5(1).
